Last time I made this treat there were three dogs at my house. As I opened the oven door and pulled out the treats, all three dogs magically appeared with their noses turned up, sniffing the air.
1 Pound Fresh Beef Liver
1 ½ Cups Flour
Place the liver in a food processor or blender and process until liver is liquified.
Stir in the flour
On a greased cookie tin, squish out the dough (it doesn't need to be perfect).
Bake at 350º for 8-15 minutes depending on how thick the dough is. You will know it is done when all of it is brown in color. If it has a reddish hue then it is not cooked through. If you take it out just as it turns brown it will yield soft treats. If you cook it longer they will be crunchier.
Once you remove them from the oven just cut into your desired size pieces. For crunchier treats cut them immediately after removing from the oven or break them into pieces after they cool.
